Abbotsbury Children’s Farm, the popular family attraction which has been closed to visitors since March…
We are very pleased to confirm that Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens remain open for visitors to enjoy fresh air and the beautiful surroundings during the current lockdown across England.
Rest assured that safety for our visitors and staff is paramount. As a very large outside space we have safety measures in place in the Gardens, including social distancing, enhanced cleaning and limits on the number of visitors at any one time.
Recreation, including visiting public gardens, is allowed during the lockdown period. You can exercise or visit outdoor public places with:• the people you live with• your support bubble• or, when on your own, one person from another household.
During this time it is essential to book tickets in advance online for timed arrivals at https://abbotsburytickets.co.uk/product/gardens-winter-special-offer/
Our Winter Special offers entry for just £5 per person and includes a hot takeaway drink.
Unfortunately, our gift shop will not be open, but we are able to continue plant sales.
The coffee shop will only be serving takeaway refreshments. Toilet facilities are open and are professionally cleaned throughout the day. Some areas, including the Burma Rope Bridge and the children’s play area are not open.
You can find the latest information here: https://abbotsburytickets.co.uk/coronavirus/
The Gardens are open every day from 10am until 4pm (last admission 3pm).
We are always monitoring developments relating to COVID-19 and if we have to make any changes to our opening and visitor access, we will make further announcements.
The Gardens in winter are truly splendid, so please do come and enjoy them! We very much look forward to seeing you here soon.
Meanwhile, thank you for your continued support. Stay safe,
The Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens Team.
