Spring Tour of Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens

Join us on a relaxing tour of Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, hosted by our curator Steve Griffith. We discover an unusual Chilean carnivorous beast, several fine magnolia and rhododendron, as well as some wonderful examples of loquat trees.

Please note that the Swannery Cafe will be closed on Friday 10th September due to unfortunate circumstances.

Online booking is advisable, but not essential. 10am – 5pm, last bookable slot 3pm to allow plenty of time to explore the Swannery.

Café now serving hot & cold drinks, homemade sandwiches and cakes with hot savouries.

Advance Tickets are booked for a certain date and only valid for that date, unless we have to close an attraction owing to unforeseen circumstances. Any Time Tickets are posted to you and can be used on any date the attraction is open.

Plant Fair at Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens - 12th September 2021

Plant Fair

Sunday 12th September, 10am-3pm

Organised by Plant Heritage Dorset with profits supporting plant conservation & education in Dorset. An interesting range of late summer/autumn plants, including late flowering perennials, shrubs, ornamental grasses, alpines, succulents and a good few rare and unusual specimens on offer. You can buy plants direct from the grower, getting invaluable tips & advice. Also some local craft & refreshment stalls. Admission is just £7.00 and includes access to the Gardens until 5pm.

We’re delighted to be hosting the Abbotsbury Food Fair. Tickets are just £7 for adults and £5 for children, which includes entry to Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens.
