Parking

Disabled badge holders may take their vehicles to a designated disabled parking area inside the Swannery.

Toilets

Toilets are located for visitors with disabilities at the entrance and inside the Swannery near the bouncing bomb exhibit.

Those who are able to provide documentary identification of disability (i.e. blue / orange badge or similar) will be able to take a carer in free of charge.

On arrival follow the disabled parking signs and pull into the holding lay by near the shop / admission point. Ensuring that traffic can still enter and exit via the road, purchase your tickets in the shop. Staff will then open the entrance gate and direct you to the designated disabled car park inside the Swannery avoiding a long walk. All other visitors must use the entrance car parks.

Carers

Assistance Dogs / Pets

Unfortunately dogs/pets are not allowed into the Swannery as the Swans would become excited and aggressive.

Wheelchairs

Access to the Swannery

The paths at the Swannery are flat and access to all areas in a wheelchair is possible except to the telescope platform.
